Commendation Conference Of International University – VNU-HCMC, Period 2020–2025
On the afternoon of July 14, 2025, International University – Vietnam National University,Ho Chi Minh City (IU–VNU,HCMC) organized the Commendation Conference to summarize the emulation movements and commendation work for the period 2020–2025, in preparation for the VI Patriotic Emulation Congress of VNU-HCMC in 2025.
During the 2020–2025 period, the patriotic emulation movements at IU were proactively, practically, and effectively implemented. Board of Presidents and all staff, employees actively participated in various activities organized by the university.
To recognize and honor the outstanding achievements and contributions of exemplary collectives and individuals, model delegates, and notable good deeds within the university, VNU-HCMC, and the education sector during the 2020–2025 period, IU’s Emulation and Commendation Council conducted a rigorous evaluation and selection process. Outstanding individuals and collectives were nominated for commendation titles by competent authorities, thereby promptly recognizing, encouraging, and promoting the university’s emulation movement.

At the conference, 05 collectives (Office of Quality Assurance and Testing (QATO), Office of Research and Development, School of Computer Science and Engineering, Center for Information Services, and the Youth Union Office) along with eleven individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement during the 2020–2025 period, were awarded commemorative medals and certificates of merit by President of International University, in recognition of their remarkable contributions.
Office of Quality Assurance and Testing (QATO) was one of the five collectives commended at the conference for the professional accomplishments, such as:
– Developing and strengthening the internal quality assurance system through the refinement of documents, tools, staff training, surveys, improvements, and self-assessments at both program level and institutional level;
– Achieving both national and international quality accreditations: IU was accredited with the ASIIN institutional-level accreditation (2023–2030), in addition to previous certifications from AUN-QA and MOET;
– 20 academic programs met quality accreditation standards: AUN-QA, ABET, ASIIN, FIBAA, ACBSP, and MOET. In 202, four programs successfully achieved ASIIN accreditation, with three additional programs in preparation for FIBAA accreditation.
